Von Arnim cashed diamondA, came to hand with diamondK and, relieved to see West follow, went back to dummy with diamondQ on which the French East let go heart2. Interesting. West was marked with six spades and three diamonds. East had not bid clubs or doubled 3NT for a lead, so presumably West had a few clubs too . that didn't leave much room for hearts - a theory reinforced by East's early heart discard. How do you continue?
