I was given this hand by East (guru A) after an evening's bridge had finished, but it was someone else (Guru B) who had determined the best line of play. He explained that it was clear cut that it was best to play for both black suits to be 3-2 and begin with ace, king and another club. When the defence wins clubQ and revert to diamonds dummy wins the queen. Declarer now cashes two top trumps ending in hand and plays a winning club to throw dummy's last diamond. Thus the defence are restricted to two black queens and diamondA.

Well, is it the best line?
