At both tables declarer won the first trick in hand with spadeJ and led a heart. East hopped up with heartA and continued trumps. From here one the play diverged - I will switch to Anthony's script.

"At this point it looks as if declarer is booked to lose a heart and either three diamonds and a club, or two diamonds and two clubs, but read on. It looks natural to ruff a heart low, which is what our teammate did, subsequently going off with three diamond losers after the club finesse lost."
