Your Double has just registered 200 decibels. That's all very well, but Bob Hamman and Bobby Wolff were playing doubles in this situation as take-out! North passed, trying to look unbothered as possible, and Hamman decided to make a natural but anti-system 2NT when his partner was praying for a double. Not only were North-South off the hook, it was about to get even better.
