The beauty of overcalling with a completely artificial bid is that it will always make it difficult for the clubbers unless they have some specific agreements - and even World Champions like Bob Hamman and Bobby Wolff have the odd hole in their armoury.

South overcalled 1club with 1NT to show either spades + diamonds or hearts + clubs. West doubled to show 6+ points and heard the bidding go Pass, Pass, 2diamond. What would you say now?
