Very nervous, I expect. North did not make the best of the play and went three down for minus 1600. This was not an average.

Ironically enough, the most sarcastic of PB's comments on this hand were reserved for West after his 1NT, but after racking up 1600 I suspect that it will not be long before West is looking favourably on another "flat" 2-2-4-5 thirteen count.
