The last precaution South must take is to cash the two top clubs ending in hand - a classic Dentist's Coup. If South simply crosses to clubA to lead a trump than West will rise and exit with a club, locking declarer in dummy. If South chooses to return to hand with a club ruff to take the trump finesse then West over-ruffs to defeat the contract.

All this hassle could have been avoided had South played in 3NT - it's cold for ten tricks.
