Q doesn't it, but take a couple of moments to think about South's distribution. Partner only has four diamonds, so where are all the missing hearts? If partner had five hearts he'd open 1
, and as he is marked with a singleton spade on the bidding this points to a 1-4-4-4 distribution. So South must have five hearts, and you are getting to the crux of the problem .
