Assuming that North can make 5spade this board is all about holding your losses to minus 500. To retain flexibility you play a diamond from dummy at trick two. North wins the ace and cashes two top spades on which South throws one of each red suit. After a while North continues with a third spade so you and South throw hearts. After ruffing in dummy how do you continue?
