You may remember that yesterday's deal had looked a relatively simple affair until declarer found out about the four-nil trump break at trick two. At the table declarer made his contract by continuing with a spade, won by West who exited with another club. Declarer led heart8 from the dummy and East made the mistake of covering. Now South ruffed a spade high and was able to draw trumps by finessing against East's nine. Eventually ten tricks were gleaned.

Craig had noticed that there was another small mistake made - one that I had certainly missed. It persuaded me that I should never, ever be tempted to play for money against him.. he appears to have the foresight of someone who plans the play two boards in advance..
