Double dummy analyser: makeable contracts
. . . what would have happened if West had played low on the Club? Well, the grand slam is still cold. All declarer has to do is to ruff four spades in the dummy and ruff four clubs in hand. That leaves the clubK established on the table with the diamondA for entry. Declarer then draws trumps and claims - easy game bridge. So a redoubled grand slam, vulnerable, with a grand coup thrown in (notice that declarer has to ruff his spadeA). Not bad.

Wait a minute - can the slam be defeated? ..
