There's a nice symmetry about this hand. Irrespective of whether we start on hearts or clubs the play will condense to a position where a defender is forced to return the other suit to avoid conceding ten tricks immediately. Only if West has heartKQ and East clubKQ then our contract is in danger. On all other layouts then we are safe. The one shown here will definitely defeat us - but what about this next one ....
