As the play went South would have done better to ignore the finesse on the second round of clubs to rise with clubA and exit with another. If the finesse is right then it's not needed! By winning with the ace and exiting with a club West will be end-played into leading a heart. This tiny improvement gains when East has clubKQ alone. Not likely, but if you continually play to take advantage of these extra chances then it will pay big dividends in the long run.

Any other lines take your fancy?
