Although not yet double dummy, you should already have a good idea of what East-West distribution is. East's four card minor is surely diamonds on West's lead (and bidding). West is likely to hold clubA to be looking for a ruff and this marks him with a 5-4-1-3 or possibly 5-5-1-2 shape. With West having most of the missing hearts then the heart finesse is likely to be right and it will almost certainly need to be for the success of the contract.
