Cross to hand with clubQ at trick two, draw the trumps with the aid of the finesse, return to spadeQ and cash the fifth trump throwing a diamond from dummy. Now follow with two top spades, hoping to catch East in a red suit squeeze. Knowing from the bidding that East controls diamonds exclusively, the squeeze still requires East to hold heartQJ10xx. As the cards lay, your heart9 will become the thirteenth trick when the third spade winner is cashed, but had West held any heart honour then East could safely throw hearts and look after the diamonds. The same squeeze would also work in 7NT..
