In the better line where South overtakes dummy's clubQ with the king, I did wonder whether South would succeed if East had found a devilish duck when the diamond finesse was taken. It would look so easy now to South:- back to hand to draw trumps and take a second diamond finesse. East would win and lead a heart, and that would be at least two off.
