Not unreasonably North bid 4spade, but I wonder what his partner thought when he saw dummy? 4heart doubled would have been interesting.

Anyway, South won the opening trump lead and drew the outstanding trump with spadeA as West threw a small heart. Thinking that the heart ace was sure to be with East, declarer now played a heart to the king. Shock, horror, probe! West wins and exits with a diamond to the jack from dummy and ace from East, who exits quietly with a heart.

How would you have restricted your losers to just one more?
