Anyway, South won the opening trump lead and drew the outstanding trump with A as West threw a small heart. Thinking that the heart ace was sure to be with East, declarer now played a heart to the king. Shock, horror, probe! West wins and exits with a diamond to the jack from dummy and ace from East, who exits quietly with a heart.
