Ivan completes his analysis by saying "There is also a simple heart / club squeeze available if declarer finesses the diamonds at trick 3 (after crossing to dummy in spades) and then cashes his red suit winners before running the spades, assuming, once again, that he gets the clubs right at the end."

There are some good declarers out there in the great wide world, and maybe that line would be favourite - on the lead it looks as though West started with four hearts and at least an early diamond finesse would put an eleventh trick in the bank.

Anyone care to suggest the definitive line?
