Perhaps the sensible move over 3NT would have been to Pass, but it requires that you lead a black suit to beat the contract**. Had you decided to double 3NT then you may have been tempted to double 4heart too. That would have given you -790, as was recorded at the table. Of course the best score available to North-South is to bid and make 5club, so maybe South should have given himself a chance by bidding 3club over 1NT instead of 2club. How should the play go?
