As you can see, 5diamond is absolutely cold unless, just like yesterday's offering, the defence can arrange for a trump promotion at trick three. 5club can never be beaten, but it needs nerves of steel to make it. West ruffs high on the third round of hearts, draws all the trumps and then must apply the Principle of Restricted Choice to pick up the diamonds without loss.
