How about conceding a club early? Perhaps West was lulled into complacency when South's club "finesse" at trick two failed, but it seemed that he had found a good lead and he continued with another trump. South won, cashed four diamonds throwing dummy's last club, ruffed club10 and claimed ten tricks.

It's easy to criticise players for letting through a ZP* contract, but how many of us would have been sitting in West's seat and writing down minus 620 after declarer's line of play? Me for one.
