Assuming that the trumps are kind then South can count on five spades, three hearts and one diamond - nine in all. See, I can add up! If you decide to ignore the hazardous line of ruffing a diamond in the dummy and draw trumps, West having three, then it must be right to take a couple of heart finesses. If one of then loses then you will have to resort to the diamond finesse. When the first two heart finesses hold you can reassess - ten of West's cards are now known.
