Of course, all this thinking took an eternity, but I eventually decided to go with the odds, given that if we went off, it would be much easier to explain things to partner (who, being a 'go with the odds' guy, would probably murder me if I didn't). SO ..6club making scored 1370 for what was potentially a great board and no nasty explanations to make to partner. At the other table........
