If you decided to play low then you would have probably made this contract. South is endplayed and has to lead a minor, with a deceptive clubJ as the most likely route out of a defensive corner.. East could guess wrongly. At the table East covered South's heart8 with the nine and North won to fire a club through. After a diamond to the king declarer found himself stuck in hand and eventually drifted one off. So?
