Many years ago when men were REAL men and green fury creatures from Alpha Centauri played C.A.B. the Camrose trials began. In the second such trial (as reported in the Jan 1954 Contract Bridge Journal) the victors were P. Swinnerton-Dyer and J Beale. Even in the midst (or should that be 'mist'?) of victory came an almost unbelievable horror board, how do you play.....
