Frimann thought about it, took a deep breath, and relied on "restricted choice" principles - West might have played the ten from heartJ10 doubleton, making the lone heartJ almost twice as likely as heartJ10. When West showed out on heart9 South played a small diamond to the ten - this also held! After cashing diamondQ declarer returned to hand with heartQ, drawing the last trump. diamondAK disposed of dummy's clubs and South's last club was ruffed in dummy . . . . . .
