At the table West started off with diamondA - wouldn't we all! His heart must have sunk when he saw next diamond5, diamondQ!!, diamond2. He decided to follow the initial process through and continued with diamondK and another but declarer unblocked diamondJ, won the next round with diamond10, cashed clubK and crossed to diamond9 to make the rest of tricks.
