Eventually West threw a second heart and declarer played a club which West did well to duck. Had he played the ace all dummy's clubs would have been winners and heartA still there to get at them. On clubQ South ditched a heart so West won and exited with heartK. South won heartA in dummy, cashed clubJ throwing his last heart, ruffed a club and exited with diamond10. West had to give South a diamond at trick thirteen.
