South was off the planet! 3NT certainly didn't guarantee an outside entry, and 6NT certainly didn't optimally protect the red suit tenaces. The scoring system wasn't even match-point pairs! Surely, a bid of 5club or even 6club would have been better judged.

A final thought - I wonder was going through East's mind when declarer played low from dummy at trick one? Perhaps we'll leave that one for the censors!
