. . . the contract should never be made!! When West leads a diamond towards dummy at trick three North should hop up smartly with diamondA and play a third club. Even though declarer correctly discards a heart, now North shifts to a trump and West again falls between two stools, unable to unblock the diamonds, ruff a diamond and retain control of the trumps. Lovely hand!
