North decided to ask about aces - he thought he'd be able to park the club loser on diamondA, but despite hearing that particular parking slot had been removed, he punted the slam anyway. It had been an inelegant sequence, made more tortuous by South's failure to use an initial 2heart relay/negative. The contract was a poor one and it must have been a close run thing as to who was most disappointed with dummy - declarer, or dummy himself!

How would you play on clubQ lead?
