. . . a mischievous thought struck me as I wrote up this deal. What would have been so different defensively if the hand had been dealt out as shown here. North again leads heart10 but South cleverly creates the impression that he started with heartAQ. Declarer plays as before but when he "end-plays" South the crafty defender rediscovers the missing two hearts and proceeds to cash them. There again, what about this layout . . . . .
