It's seems a natural thing to put heartJ on the table at trick two, but Armstrong realised that it would be allowed to hold the trick wherever the king was. A switch to a low spade might allow North to win and lead a heart, leaving declarer with an awkward guess. Would it be right to finesse hearts again or rise with the ace and finesse against South in spades?
