It's a fair slam at Pairs - my correspondent estimates about 65% - but you probably feel better about missing it when confronted with that opening lead! You decide to finesse anyway - the lead looks like from a doubleton or diamond98x - and East wins with the king and returns the nine.

It must be safe to take the trump finesse now, so .. well, how do you proceed?
