Unless you have some specific treatment for this type of hand - the use of a Baronesque 16+ 2NT or a "pudding" 3NT spring to mind - otherwise they can be very difficult to handle effectively. At the table North-South were playing Precision, so North did not become unduly excited about slam prospects when he was looking at 80% of his points outside partner's suits.

First of all, would you want to be the slam? Secondly, how would you play a mere 4heart on the lead of diamond8? (The opponents play 4th highest from good suits, 2nd from rubbish.)
