With the whereabouts of diamondAKQ still unknown, quite how East was supposed to get this right I don't know, but another heart was the correct decision. East wins the heart continuation with the ace and plays another spade - the defence can now untangle their communications to take their "rightful" three tricks. You can imagine the thoughts of East-West when they picked up the travelling score sheet - a string of plus 50s their way ... followed by a solitary -460.
