OK, so you saw that it is best to play a small heart to dummy's eight or nine, but did you decide what to do if that held - as happened at the table?!!!! If not, I shall assume that you next played a heart to dummy's king, and award you two off! Look at that brilliant and diabolical ducking play of North! Unfortunately his brilliance will cost him an IMP if you correctly lead a small heart to dummy's ten - as you should. If it loses there is no problem, but if it wins you can then cash heartK, cross over to spadeK, draw the last trump and run your spades - twelve tricks rather than eight!
