In the commentary, it was explained that declarer won the club in hand, drew trumps with a Restricted Choice assisted finesse against North's queen, crossed back to clubK and led diamond8. Now the commentary stated "although the defenders could make two diamond tricks, they could not arrange for North to win the first and eventually declarer was able to discard a spade from dummy on his last diamond."
