With West throwing a diamond it looks as if diamonds were 5-1, so if he started with heartK, three rounds of clubs will squeeze him down to where you can throw him in to give you two heart tricks.

On the other hand, if East has the heartK and four clubs, you should play to the Kdiamond and throw him in with the fourth club to lead into the heart tenace. This line will also work if West has heartK, so seems to be the best bet, although it will fail if East has five clubs - he'll be able to keep two winners ..
