6club looks OK, but 6NT and 6spade look better. This last alternative looks favourite to me, but this contract was the one not reached in this match. For Poland, Zmudzinski and Gawrys reached 6NT. East, Martel, had made a weak jump overcall of 2diamond over North's Polish 1club which, incidentally, showed either 19+, or 12-15 balanced, or 12-18 4-4-1-4 or 16-18 with 5+ clubs!!
