. . . declarer won the club lead, ruffed a club, returned to diamondA and ruffed another club. South's diamondQ was won by West who belatedly switched to a trump, so South rose with heartA and led a diamond from the dummy. East was fixed - to ruff high would allow declarer to throw a losing club, and to discard would see South win and ruff his last club. All that remained was for South to guess the spades correctly and clock up +620!
