If you decided to go on - presumably with 3diamond, then you must send me your e-mail address so that I can consult you on matters of bidding - your judgement is better than mine. Although 3diamond is aggressive it would have led you to a game in either clubs or spades.

For a change, you can choose which one you'd prefer. In 5club (from the West hand) you have to play it on the lead of spade7. In 4spade (from the East side) you get a heart to the ace and a trump switch.
