* 8 tricks somewhere

At one table North-South reached the adventurous contract of 4spade. It didn't go off. I didn't ask. It's not polite to intrude on grief. Elsewhere the Royal couple were busily compensating and reached 7NT! I cannot remember their sequence exactly but it was something like this.
K: I have 8 tricks dear. 2club
Q: Darling, I have good support and a heart suit!
K: Yes dear. 2spade
Q: Darling, how many aces have you? I'm huge!
K: Yes dear. So am I. It's all those cruises. 7NT.
Her Royal Worshipful Justice won the opening diamond lead, cashed the spades, cashed the diamonds and finally cashed clubA to find that West had been squeezed. When clubK dropped there was no need for a heart finesse.
