Not a bit of it! Declarer proceeded to take diamondA, ruff a diamond, spade to the jack and two more rounds of trumps (finding them 3-3 of course). After heartK, heart10 to the ace and three more rounds discarding a club, all that was now required was to find clubA onside (naturally!). East-West seemed surprised that no one else was in a slam - in fact some did not manage to reach game. However what crowned off this now memorable hand for me was RHO who proceeded to comment................
