In the other room declarer won heartA, cashed clubA and played three rounds of spades, ruffing the third with club10. diamondAKQ followed and North's losing heart went away as East ruffed. East could not hurt declarer and again the slam came home. I'd be interested to hear from you, but I think it was a mistake to cash clubA. If East had four spades instead of three then a spade return would have meant an ignominious defeat for 6club, but if clubA is still in the dummy at least declarer has the option of using it to ruff a fourth round of spades high.
