You may well have chosen 4diamond - unlikely to be natural - or perhaps punted 6NT. When the hand occurred West bid 4NT Blackwood, and on hearing of one ace opposite continued with 5NT, when his partner jumped to 7diamond.

Perhaps partner has taken your 5NT as a Josephine GSF for diamonds? So what do you do?
