When this hand was given to me, I put in heart9 and said that if it held I would lead a trump at trick two and hope for a trump crash. Well, I suppose that might have happened, but only if East gets it wrong big time. The winning line is to win in hand, finesse heartQ and lead the Ace.

What can East do? If he ruffs low you over-ruff and play on the red suits, merely losing three trumps or two spades and a club. If he ruffs high or discards, you ditch your club. Ten tricks again. Not easy to find, is it?
