Partner's club8 means that both South and West are likely to hold an even number of clubs. If South had led clubK you would have ducked automatically, and this is opposite side of the same coin. Presumably declarer is trying to enter dummy for a red suit finesse, so you must win clubA and continue with another spade. South ducks once, then wins spadeA while West throws diamond2 and dummy diamond5. Declarer now cashes clubK and exits with his last spade, so you win and cash the last one. Partner continues to throw diamonds while dummy, which is coming under increasing pressure, throws diamonds too. Partner doesn't like diamonds much so it cannot be right to play one now, so you exit with heartK and take a further three tricks for one off and + 100.
So what's the big deal ..?.
