At teams I would argue that there would be no question of anything other than 4heart, but at pairs it's not quite so straightforward as partner will be bidding in the knowledge that you have some values. Nevertheless, North decided that all his points were concentrated in the right suits and raised to 4heart, showing full confidence in his partner's declarer play.

It was OK for North, he didn't have to play it, but how would you bring home ten tricks when West begins with spadeAQ?
