Some might make an optional double with this hand, but personally I always get a bad score whenever I double in this sort of sequence, so I am the last person to tell you what to do! At the table North-South were on the same wavelength and South interpreted 4NT as a take-out and jumped to 6club based on the fact that he was much better than could be expected. Brave man. Anyway West was having a piece of this and applied the boot.
